National training pays off for Reel Brazil team
Ongoing training and investment in people is playing a crucial factor in the long term strategy and goals of Reel do Brazil.
All the hard work and training to date is now starting to pay dividends as in January this year Reel do Brasil successfully completed its first all Brazilian national job for Transocean Diego Souza.
Raphael Silva and Felipe Moraes carried out a 3rd party drops survey on-board Transocean’s Deepwater Navigator safely and on time and John Munsey, Maintenance Supervisor on the Transocean Deepwater Navigator recognised Reel’s progress:
“Just a note to let you know that I was very interested to see, that you sent to the vessel, a team of Brazilian Nationals to carry out the subject Inspection. I have been comfortable in the knowledge that historically your crews normally consist of at least one expatriate who would supervise the local guys and I would have expected this to continue.
On this occasion the crew were all local guys and the service was equal to anything previously performed by a crew with an expatriate supervisor.”
